Helium Scraper Problems on Ebay

Post by relicon » Sun Oct 02, 2011 3:51 pm

I tried to scrape some of the item numbers on Ebay. Some item numbers were scraped, but some were not.

I think there should be a feature in which Helium Scraper would FIND and HIGHLIGHT late the text such as "item number:" and then somehow copy the numbers or words next to it.

So far, everytime I run the script, it does scrape the item numbers, BUT SOME ARE MISSING. Helium Scraper sort of skipped it even though it can be selected as a kind.

Hi,

If your kinds are properly selecting those items, this is most likely because the item loads dynamically and has not loaded when you attempt to extract it. One solution would be to use the Force Select premade. If you wish, send me your project and I'll see what's going on.

Hi Webmaster,

You are definitely right about the Ajax code that Ebay uses. I have attached the project below. By the way, how do you add the premade "Force Select"?

Thanks a lot.
