MSysCompactError

Post by doug » Mon Sep 05, 2011 9:00 pm

My run ended with a new table in the database. See name above. From two runs the contents are:

-1404 Could not find field 'Description'. f_3B953BDDD6D946378EBE5EE93B964C0A_Data
-1011 Could not find field 'Description'. MSysAccessStorage
-1011 Could not find field 'Description'. MSysAccessStorage
-1011 Could not find field 'Description'. MSysAccessStorage
-1011 Could not find field 'Description'. MSysNavPaneGroupCategories
-1404 Could not find field 'Description'. MSysNavPaneGroups
-1404 Could not find field 'Description'. MSysNavPaneGroupToObjects
-1011 System resource exceeded. MSysRelationships

AND

-1011 System resource exceeded. MSysRelationships

Can you give any hints as to what to look at? The project is simply stepping through a table of URL's and extracting. You'd have to have an account to run and test it so I'll just hope for workarounds or caveats. HS gave up or locked up (ctrl-alt-del)'d after doing 40 or 62 URL's. The next page in sequence is partially loaded and we wait forever for completion.

Hi,

That new table means something got corrupted while trying to compress the database. The database gets automatically compressed when you save your project file. Save a backup of your project and ignore / delete the new table.

Regarding the other problem, if HS just stopped responding (you get the "Not responding" text on the caption) this probably means the webpage is freezing the browser. There is nothing that can be done here other than not navigating to that page.

If it's just taking to long to complete loading, you can set a lower navigation timeout at Project -> Options.

Hope this helps.

Hi again,

We are currently working on a fix that will prevent the database from getting corrupted. This fix will come with the next update.
