Re: How to create xml files for import into websites?

Helium Scraper doesn't provide that functionality. However, I just found this free online tool that does just that. Note that you need to paste not the data straight from the editor (Excel or Helium Scraper's data table editor) but the text of the CSV file, so you need to save your data as a CSV fil...

Auto login

This is a simple but handy premade project. It contains an actions tree called "Auto Login". It will receive four parameters: a kind that selects the username box, a kind that selects the password box, a username and a password. Then, if you invoke it from an "Execute Actions Tree" action, it will a...

Search in any search engine

The attached project is a sample of how to use two of the new features: the "Execute Caller's Children" action and the "Setup HTML". It's a project that can be used as a template or imported into an existing one. Contains an actions tree called "Search" that when invoked from a "Execute Actions Tree...

Re: Emails scraping

Hi, With Helium Scraper you have full access to the source code of the web page. There are a few built in gatherers that might fit your needs. See "Kinds -> Common Properties" in the documentation (The one you need is probably the "Link" gatherer). Also, see "Kinds -> JavaScript Gatherers" in case y...

Re: Extracting a Page URL

Just change the property being extracted to Url as in this picture: url.jpg You do need to create a kind that will select any element in the page. No matter which element it selects, the Url will be always the same for every element in a given page. So normally, you would use any other kind from whi...

Re: Data from different pages in the same table/row?

Hi, Each row can only be extracted from the same page at the same time when using a "Extract" action. What you can do is create two "Extract" actions that extract each to a different table and extract the "idNumber" to both tables so then you can use a SQL JOIN to join them together into a single ta...

Re: Problems with downloading pictures

Hi Chris, Make sure the property of the downloaded picture in the "Extract" action is set to "SrcAttribute" and not to "InnerText". This is a general rule for every time you are downloading pictures. As for how to put your data into your SQL database, if you are using PHP My Admin, there is an optio...
