Semi Random URL

I am looking to scrap 'random' pages of a website. It has a typical URL with a page number that is similar to this: http://www.nettiauto.com/4739952 http://www.nettiauto.com/4739953 http://www.nettiauto.com/4739954 http://www.nettiauto.com/4739955 http://www.nettiauto.com/4739956 However, I would li...

Alternatives if development has stopped?

Hi all, I just want to say that I love Helium Scraper. However, I was forced to upgrade to Windows 8.1, which causes me to not be able to use IE10 which Helium Scraper relies on. I believe that when Helium Scraper uses IE11, there is a massive memory leak which causes my 16GB RAM computer to run out...

Navigate URL not working with scripting errors

I am trying to use the 'Navigate URL' function on some URLs. The program will go to the URL, but then it hangs there in execution mode for minutes and the rest of the actions (extract) do not run. I turned off 'suppress script errors' and there were some java issues on the pages. Is there a way to t...

Connect to Database - Database Size

Hi, I am starting to use a "start processes" action which asks me to connect to an external database. I have figured out how to do this. However, if I stop the tree, and "empty output files", the access database remains at a huge size (75MB). I have opened the access file and looked in the tables, b...

Re: Trouble with Game Credits

I have a followup question. I was able to get the Execute > Wrap function to work to get the company names to be headers. However, some of the people's name in the credits are hyperlinked, whereas others are not. I am able to get all of the hypelrinked names to show up correctly when I only make a k...

Re: Trouble with Game Credits

I kept working with it and I got it to work! I did not explain my problem clear enough in the first post, but your link to the 'Force elements into the same row' was the function I needed and the description made me able to figure it out! Thanks so much for this great program.

Re: Trouble with Game Credits

I am still struggling to do this. I followed your advice (thank you!) but the result ends up with: The game name always showing in the rows. The company name showing in the next column, but no title or person name. Then when there are no more company names, it will show the game game, blank firm nam...

Drop Down Menu

Hi, Is there a way for the program to cycle through pages that load due to a selection on a drop down menu? For example, on the webpage below there is a dropdown menu that allows you to choose different weeks to see videogame sales data from. Is there a way for the program to automatically cycle thr...

Trouble with Game Credits

Hello all, First, I love the product. It is saving me a lot of time collecting data for my dissertation. I am, however, running into a problem getting data from a particular website in the order I need to be in. Speficially, I need the credit data from the following website in the below order. http:...
