Re: Running out of resources

Helium appears to have some kind of massive memory leak. I have 8 GB on my machine, and I run out of resources after scraping about 1,000 records. It's a massive inconvenience. To get around this, I reboot frequently. I also limit the size of the projects, and I frequently copy and I export output t...

Make sure that you set a timeout. Also, you might want to reboot your computer to free up memory.

Re: Page does not load completely

Hello flotschie; I just ran into the same problem as you. I tried changing the browser version, but that didn't help. There are two things I did to fix it: First, I rebooted my computer, and that solved 90% of the problem. Even if I don't get a "Out of Resources" error....if I notice strange behavio...

Re: Problems with Command Line Scheduled Task

Update: I finally got the Scheduled Task to open an instance of Helium. Not quite sure what I did, but I used that strange file path mentioned earlier, and messed around with the parameters until it worked. I can tell you that I left the field called "Run From" blank. However, Helium gives a pop-up ...

Problems with Command Line Scheduled Task

Please help! I can't get the Command Line functionality to work. I'm trying to set up a Scheduled Task in Windows to run Helium from the command line, but the execution either Fails immediately, or it Runs for eternity and has to be manually stopped. One thing that I noticed was odd: When I follow t...

Newbies Must Read This: Critical Note about Viewing Data

First of all, let me say that I love this software. Second, let me pass along an important note to Newbies: When viewing data in the Tables, be aware that what you are seeing might not be the true data in the table because the screen does not refresh automatically. In other words, if you view your e...

Re: Navigate URLs action not Working...

PROBLEM SOLVED. Helium does NOT automatically save the information in your tables: you have to MANUALLY hit the Save button (careful to get the right one, which is right above the table). Not only that, but you MUST hit the save button for the data in the table to be accessible by the program. There...

Navigate URLs action not Working... [resolved]

Hello, I'm trying out the Demo version, and I love this software, but I can't get the Navigate URLs action to work. Am I doing something wrong? I have a simple list of URLs that I want to visit and extract data from. For my simple experiment, I created a "Table2" with a field called URL and I entere...
